From the 9th to 11th of October, 2017, there will be held the III Russian-Finnish Partneriat for Small and Medium Business. In 2017 the event will be held in Helsinki and will be timed to the Teknologia 2017 Exhibition - an annual significant event in the field of technology and industry. The organizer of Partneriat is the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg which is supported by the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Finland and the Regional Integrated Center – Saint-Petersburg.

The strategic goal of the Russian-Finnish Partneriat is the development and strengthening of interregional and international relations based on the synergy of science, production and business.

Over the years the St. Petersburg Partneriat is the leading Russian platform for discussing the problems of small and medium-sized businesses.

The first Russian-Finnish Small and Medium Business Partneriat was held in Turku, 2015. The event was organized by the Government of St. Petersburg and the City Hall of Turku with the support of the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Finland and the Regional Integrated Center - St. Petersburg. There were 267 companies from Russia, Finland, Latvia, the Netherlands and China that participated in it.

In 2016 the Russian-Finnish Partneriat was held in the framework of the international exhibition "Subcontracting" ("Alihankinta") - the largest event in the field of industrial cooperation in Northern Europe region. The event was organized by the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg and the City Hall of Tampere supported by the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Finland and the Regional Integrated Center - St. Petersburg. 236 companies from Russia, Finland, Belarus and the USA took part in the business forum. The event was attended by representatives of 8 subjects of the Russian Federation (among them: St. Petersburg, Moscow, the Republic of Karelia, the Republic of Tatarstan, Vologda, Kemerovo, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl region).

This year, in the framework of Partneriat, there will be held a strategic session "Economy and Industry Russia-Finland 2025", matchmaking, round tables and sectional meetings on issues of mutual interests for all the sides.

The structure of the Russian-Finnish Partneriat 2017 includes two tracks with the following available options:

Transport connections

  • Buses: 506 and 69 to Messukeskus, and buss 551 from Espoo to Pasila railway station
  • Trains: all local and long-distance trains (except Allegro trains) stop at Pasila railway station, just a 300-metre walk from Messukeskus.
  • Bicycling: City bikes and stations near Messukeskus
  • Taxi: A taxi rank can be found in front of Messukeskus. Taxis are allowed to drive right up to the entrance.
  • Airport: I and P trains run from the airport to the nearby Pasila railway station. The journey takes around 30 minutes, and trains leave every 10 minutes in the daytime. By taxi, you can reach Messukeskus in 15–20 minutes.
  • Cruise ships: You can travel to Helsinki by ship from Stockholm, Tallinn, St Petersburg and Travemünde.
